Harshmeet Kohli often finds herself to be a confused monkey trapped in an old wise owl's body. Born out if this confusion, she calls herself a 'creativist' than labelling herself as solely an artist or designer. Curious in her peculiar ways, she remains relatively inquisitive about strangers and the stories they could offer.
She is interested in the portrayal of conversations and social bonds in contemporary art, by examining their nature in virtual spaces. Through the nature of this interpersonal and intrapersonal virtual communication, co exist instances of self reflection and daydreaming within the mundanity of our everyday acts and routines. These unfinished logs of fragmented conversations, serve as interstices for examining the development of social bonds virtually. In this lost art of conversations in our physicality, what could be considered as an ideal conversation or failed conversation? And within the buffer-zone of failure we may find the opportunity for evaluating the human tendency for completion, perfection, silence, stillness, comfort, discomfort, open-endedness, errors, breakdown.
