Geraldine Chiang has always been entertained by films and television programs since young, curious about what goes on behind the screens. Her time in The Puttnam School of Film has fulfilled her curiosity and made her fall deeper for the editing process. She has also discovered a new interest in writing as a result of her love for novels such as Lucky One, Safe Haven, Memoirs of a Geisha, Snow Flower and the Secret Fan, etc.


She does a major in Sound Design and a minor in Screenwriting. Throughout her 3 years at The Puttnam School of Film, she has done sound design for 9 short films and written 6 short films such as Journey Home and Torrents, along with 2 television commercials titled Happy, for Project Happy Feet and Should We, for HOME, as part of her Level 3 assignments. Geraldine wishes to continue her passion in sound design to improve her skills and hopes to be able to write a novel one day.


Film - One Way Ticket


Daniel, a rookie gangster, is on his way to deliver weapons to a gang fight. He boards a public bus and pays the fare, only to discover that the ticketing machine is spoilt, but is excused by the bus driver. During the journey, a bus conductor catches Daniel without a ticket, wrongfully fines him and tells him to leave, with the bus driver failing to defend him. Keeping up his unlucky streak, his gang loses and blames him for it. Daniel, in bitter revenge, seeks out the bus driver to attain justice for himself.
