Amnesty International, Make Art Not War

Description

This was an advertising project for the greater good, we were supposed to create awareness posters or an advertising campaign that would create more insight to the public about specific issues and organizations around the world, The one I chose was Amnesty International, so I decided to stick to this one after days of research on a more concrete and recently controversial issue, and it happened to be about Children who were killed for vandalizing or drawing in Syria when the country’s crisis was at it’s peak. We as people who are in a developed country do not face such issue and take our rights to paint, draw, write for granted without ever thinking. This poster or ad campaign is an exact representation of the situation in Syria, depicting common stationery, brushes and pens with hands bleeding down from the tip where the ink touches.
