Why do people believe in invisible existence? Most of the human population believe in the intangible; invisible forces which are untouchable and without any evidence of ontology. A seemingly strange phenomenon amongst society. Both superstition and religion assign meaning without evidence. Believing in superstition and religion stems from the same need of wanting there to be meaning and boundaries to the lives we lead. It is an understandable notion.
Her aim is to get the audience to experience a few moments of life without the influence of beliefs(superstition and religion). She asks audience to approach her art without any pre-existing beliefs, evaluating her work for what it is on the canvas and nothing else. She attempted this by erasing superstitious and supernatural beings and religious beliefs.
